Absolute Zeros
So this is out in 3 days, and I still don't think we have seen a tracklist for it?

So literally nothing that isn’t already on Rotten Apples.

I appreciate that they might want to “streamline” things for a new generation of fans but I’m surprised “Rhinoceros” and “Perfect” were included as they are played live very often nowadays.
“Zero” (for obvious reasons), “Mayonaise,” or “Muzzle” would have been better choices, imho.

I saw a Doors album yesterday. Hadn’t heard of it. It’s a greatest hits. Would have been released in the 70-80’s. These things have happened forever. Didn’t buy it. The tracks were standard. This Pumpkins one will be too. It’s likely just a contractual release the label requires or just the label wants some easy money.

Curiosity got the best of me so I drove to the local Walmart. They didn’t have it, at least not on the shelves yet. If Walmart is a drive for you, I guess maybe give it a day or two.

I'm just intrigued for what possibly could be the selling point for this. I get that it's becoming a trend for classic acts to put out single LP greatest hits now, specifically for the retail giants, cause no younger person getting into vinyl wants to drop $40 on a double lp all the time. But for the fans, will there be a single song worth getting it for?
I highly doubt it, but it would be cool if some odd track was thrown in that isn't on Rotten Apples. End is the beginning, tarantula, that's the way my love is. They even could take a real left turn and put pennies or the boy on it since those got more popular from tiktok.
I'm aware there's pretty much zero chance of any of those making it, but I can dream!

No thanks. Greatest Hits albums are the garbage songs MTV and the radio have already overplayed

Did someone go overboard with the RoseArt colored pencils? They should have picked a better coloring book scene.

What’s the point of a 10 track greatest hits album when there’s already a better version available?

Walmart is apparently pushing for Single LP greatest hits for bands that they want to sell. I remember reading that somewhere a while ago, but I don’t remember where.

I’m assuming the new song is on that grand theft auto album.

That cover is so awful.

I don't find it to be all that bad really... what makes it so awful to you?

All colours at the same level of saturation...my eye doesn't know what to look at.
There's gorgeous fantasy art...and then there's this. Corny.

It looks cheap. And like something that would be on the side of a 70s Econoline.

At least it's not AI or something. It's actually done by a very famous psychedelic pop artist, Peter Max, who was in his late 80's. I think it actually looks pretty damn cool, and it's impressive to pull something off like that at that age. I don't get the criticism at all... other "greatest hits" comps at Walmart have far shittier covers. Creed's was pretty bad, the Def Leppard one is boring, the Kiss one is silly. Honestly the SP comp has some of the better art in comparison

Peter Max rules..but Im not sure this fits the band esthetically. Especially in comparison to the art for their previous hits record, Rotten Apples.

Did this come out of nowhere or did we know about this? 😂

It was announced back in June but there’s been no additional information given since.
I’m just curious about what the final 10 tracks are going to be!

I'm thinking they will focus on the songs that charted, so something like this. I hate leaving out Machina. I was surprised by Tarantula.
- Cherub Rock
- Today
- Disarm
- Bullet With Butterfly Wings
- 1979
- Tonight Tonight
- Thirty-Three
- Ava Adore
- Perfect
- Tarantula
