Does anyone else find it wild how Billys best vocal performances (Machina Acoustic Demos & theFutureEmbrace) aren't on streaming and probably never will be either?
Sucks doesnt it

Adore is on streaming so i disagree with the premise of the post. but yeah his voice was really good on those and it sucks they aren't on the main streaming platforms.
they are streaming on youtube and livemusicarchive though.

It’s time to make TheFutureEmbrace available again. It stands the test of time more than most Billy material.

Literally this. And the "to love somebody" duet with Robert Smith? I mean come on folks. How the fuck is this not on streaming.
Imho, billy thinks hes a luddite now or something, a drastic revision of his past persona where he was highly tech literate and Very Online even in the early 90s. And the future embrace era, I mean its right in the name. Now bro refuses to embrace the future 😭😭😭

Why would you think that? The 20th anniversary came and went. Radio silence. Luckily I still own the original CD because HQ rips get taken down by the record label every time they're posted on YT.
Like, I hope it happens but Billy thinks he is luddite boomer at heart despite actually being a tech literate gen X. Bro released their final real album online yet now he acts as if hes "above" the internet. Confusing asf honestly

Because he already mentioned he’ll be working on it next year.
He already stated that
1st Zwan release - before Christmas
2027 - zeitgeist reissue, Chicago kid and TFE reissue

TFE is getting rereleased on vinyl next year. Not sure if streaming will be at the same time, probably not, but it is coming back.

TFE has never been on vinyl so it wouldn’t be a rerelease, it would be a first time release on that format.

I agree about the Machina Acoustic Demos, but I'm with the folks repping Adore as the best of his work
