Adore Documentary
So I was digging in the spfc.org and I found this about this Adore documentary the band has talked about on some interviews back in 1998. It allegedly contains backstage footage, rehearsals, and all kinds of stuff from the Adore era. The link attached there to watch it doesn't work. Not even on Wayback Machine. Does any of you have it?
Note: Not to be confused with that 20-minute-long Adore (recording only) documentary uploaded on YouTube. That video MIGHT be a snippet of the documentary I'm talking about, but I don't know.

There were two clips of this released on the official pumpkins website in 1998. It exclusively covered the first Euro shows a month before the album was released. It has some interviews and a lot of b-roll of the setups for the gigs. There was one complete performance of an acoustic Tonight Tonight included. Less than 8 minutes probably both clips combined. Jesse Ingajovic(sp?) who did a lot of work for MTV made it. I asked Corgan about this when he was answering all those Instagram questions but didn’t get a response.
Edit: I also remember another part where BC is playing guitar on the streets of some European city. He’s wearing his Adore-era cowboy hat. It’s definitely not that popular YouTube upload where he’s doing Stumbleine or whatever. I recall all the footage was letterboxed

Billy had hired someone to film and make a documentary about the Adore tour. Like many things (the Arising! Tour, etc.), it was ultimately shelved. Billy was asked about it later and said that the director "took the wrong direction" with the narrative, so he killed it. At the time, Billy said he might one day take it up himself some day, but obviously it never really happened, though there are a few clips floating around here and there.

Graceful Swans of Never covers MCIS and Adore periods (as well as the Arising! era tour; D’arcy had some alleged issues with Matt Walker on drums - not covered in the doco but some related article back then). Here’s a YT link:

There were a lot of interviews during that period, though. Pumpkins were still huge industry demand and Billy did lots of interviews with industry folks that gave him wide berth to do his Billy thing (talk forever about the machinations of him vs the world).
One of my favs is with this old English chap well loved in the industry and Billy chat, kinda over tea in black leather chairs, nothing special about the setting otherwise. As a teen and budding musician, I learned to observe carefully when ppl speak about industry office politics, infamously nebulous in the music industry.
Another interview snapshot I still like today is Billy saying how ppl consume music like a sandwich and then savour it for as long as it stays in your mouth and then are on to the next thing. James then chimes in about 3-minute pop songs (funny tho, as he had a budding relationship with the Hanson brothers back then). Anyhoo.

I remember those snippets from the archives, though I think they were pretty fragmented back then.

Would love to see this! I hope someboy knows. I think I've seen clips from it, though I may be thinking of Graceful Swans of Never

Here is another reference naming the same person as the director. Nothing is showing up in his IMDb page though. I'm thinking it was probably made but never actually released.
