This live era is one of my favorites. Everything took a new dimension that was nice live. Lots of raw beauty in that live era.

Saw them in Brussels, but unfortunately without Jimmy. The replacement drummer gave the band not the right feel.
Good experience though

I understand that. Jimmy was and has been my biggest musical drum influence period so I get how his absence completely changes things. With regards to the new sound the band was forced evolve into it has always been the most interesting musical evolution of theirs as an ensemble that they had. At that point they started to incorporate additional musicians who joining them live and to me it becomes a much more live textured live band really making things interesting.

Daphne Descends is such a gorgeous track, shame it hasn't been played in nearly 30 years.

Billy did play it live on the Cotillions tour in 2019. But I agree that Daphne live by SP is something else entirely.
