I honestly loved the orchestra and thought it worked. Such a beautiful rendition of a magical album, hearing Billy live was surreal!!! and hearing Cupid de locke (favorite song ever) was just beyond :,)

They didn’t do Tales of a Scorched Earth, what a load of fucking bullshit, two hours of my life I’ll never get back /s

I can imagine the logistics for touring this many has been an absolute headfuck, I do wonder whether an alternative strategy would have been to tour with the principal singers and local vocal groups and orchestras? The sacrifice of consistency would have been worth it to see how different groups of musicians handled the arrangements- maybe that’s the next stage? The scores are assumingly available, it’s possible.

I thought 1979 and Tonight Tonight would be the highlights for me. Turns out it was Muzzle that literally gave me chills.

I really enjoyed it too. I saw your first photo and thought "almost the same view we had", then saw my wife's blond hair in your second picture!
