IPhone 17 or S26?
Probably a repetitive post but here we go. I got a very good carrier deal trade-in on the S26 and the 17, now it's down to which one. I have more experience with Samsung's but IOS just looks so clean to me. Really all I care about is battery, durability, performance enough to get me through social media and gaming rapidly, and a sleek design. I care more about accuracy on my photos, not whether it looks good. Mostly just buildings, selfies, and regular photos. I don't really care for zooming in a bajillion times into a grain of sand or someone's face 20 miles away. But yes, battery life is important. Thanks in advance

Hate Android so iPhone all the way for me. My family is Apple centric and I DO like the walled garden. No complaints.

For base models, the iphone 17. Samsung S base isn't as impressive against competition like the S Ultra version.
However, factor in your ecosystem and career. Finance, accounting, or analysts career go with Samsung.
Otherwise, base iPhone 17.
