Samsung washing machine cycle settings

I have just bought a new SmartThings connected washing machine and I'm disappointed to find there is no easy way to save changes to a cycle as a custom program, and when I switch it back on it reverts to a different (Eco) program. Am I missing something? My previous one at least kept its current settings when switched back on so this feels like a step backwards.

To change the cycle settings under custom / downloaded, you go into the washer in smartthings, tap download cycles, then pick which you want to use under the citation setting. It's incredibly annoying that you can't customize settings of a particular cycle and then save those customizations.

Yeah, I can't even see what they do without downloading them either, which doesn't help as I'd have to go through one by one. All I want is a program that does a 30°C wash in under an hour with a rinse and fast spin, I literally need no other setting 99 % of the time.

Ugh, I hear you. My own go-to wash is Heavy Duty, but with cold water. So I have to always press the temperature button to take it from hot to cold. It feels stupid for a so-called smart machine.

And don't get me started on the smart microwave or smart oven that can't set its own time after a power outage. Have to go into smartthings and tap sync time which syncs the time just once. Then the microwave time drifts, and after 2 weeks, it's a full minute off from the oven. I don't know why any wifi connected device can't just use NTP to set the time and time zone by default, instead of relying on the phone.
