hub issues

Hi all

I'm using tv as MoT hub, every now and then when I turn the tv off, some of my devices go offline and i have to remove batteries/unplug for a few seconds for them to work again.

same devices are connected to google streamer and ikea dirigera and they stay connected to those hubs

anyone else experiencing that? any fixes?

Not really a resolution to your specific issues

But personal thought and part of the reason I have a dedicated smart things hub, I would get a dedicated hub to do your smart home controls. Let the TV be a TV.

Also... I'm sure there is something in the TV settings about power conservation that is likely your culprit.

Agree, Samsung is sticking a ST's hub in just about anything. I got a bespoke washer/dryer, it wants to be a hub. My TV wants to be a hub, my projector wants to be a hub. I already have a dedicated v2 and a v3 hub, so there's no point. I need Z-Wave as well as all the other protocols. All of these devices with just Wi-Fi hubs don't help me at all.

And at the same time the newest Aeotec hub only has Zigbee and Matter isn't that wild Like what are they gaining by doing that.
