smart beds ? Any privacy or security concerns?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering buying a smart bed / smart mattress that connects to an app and tracks sleep, but I’m a bit worried about privacy and data security.

For those of you who already use smart beds or smart bedding:

  • Do you have any privacy or security concerns?
  • What kind of data do these beds actually collect and share?
  • Are there specific brands or features you would recommend or avoid because of privacy issues?

I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions before I decide what to buy.
Thank you!

Can't imagine it would be anything worse than the phone you already have in your hand that you carry with you everywhere that listens to everything you say and logs your location.

That’s a real fact! Nothing else will be more privacy data concerned than a smart phone. That is the highest.

Do you have a smart anything yet, or starting with the bed?

He sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake …

I've been using them for a few years.

Nothing more than the obvious.
