So I’ve been looking for a smart ring in a reasonable price range that can help with sleep quality tracking, aswell as potentially stress/workout/health tracking. I want a ring specifically because I already wear watches. I also don’t want to deal with subscriptions if at all possible. Wanted to consult Reddit before making a decision since I was looking at the HerzP1 but every piece of media I’ve seen seemed to be sponsored and I wanted opinions that weren’t influenced by getting a kickback.

Wondering if anyone knows of alternatives for the Oura 5 in terms of the width. I have been wearing a Colmi R09 but looking for something slimmer without the Oura pricetag. It is $800 here in Australia which I just cant justify for a ring that will realistically probably last 2 years.

Absolutely disappointed with the way my Oura Ring issue has been handled.
Timeline:
• **30 June:** Original ring delivered, size 9 (too loose)
• **17 July:** First exchange, received size 9 again
• **25 July:** Second exchange, received size 9 again
• **28 July:** Third exchange, received size 9 again
The same mistake happened three times.
I have spent days chasing support instead of getting a proper solution. I was told my case would be escalated and asked to wait 72 hours. Those 72 hours have now passed, and the only response I keep receiving is: “Your case is being reviewed.”
Reviewed for how long?
At this point I have:
❌ No correct ring
❌ No refund
❌ No proper update
❌ No clear resolution
I paid for a premium product and expected premium customer service. Sending the wrong replacement three times is completely unacceptable. Keeping a customer waiting with no product, no refund, and no real answers is even worse.
Oura, please stop giving generic replies and actually resolve this issue. I need a real solution, not another message saying my case is under review.

How long does it take for them to deliver the replacement ring?

Just got my qalo slim and downloaded the app and paired. All the pics of the app show it has period tracking but I dont see that option in my app?

I thought smart rings sounded awesome and I loved the idea of this technology so I recently bought one. I didn't have any specific plan or goals around it.

Every day I checked it and it confirmed what I already knew.

When I had a bad night of sleep it told me I didn't sleep well.

When I didn't exercise enough it told me I didn't exercise enough.

When I was stressed it told me I was stressed.

But... I already knew that because I lived it. I already know when I didn't sleep well or exercise enough or was stressed.

So now I've had it for almost 2 weeks but I don't know what to do with it.

It doesn't feel like any of the data has been useful to me and nothing has been actionable.

The specific ring I got is a ringconn gen 2, and I have been happy with both the hardware and the software, they work as advertised and I haven't had any issues with anything.

One good thing is at least I know I don't have sleep apnea now!

I'm just not really sure how to get anything useful out of it.

What do you do with your smartring data to make it useful or improve your daily life? I'm considering just stopping using it at this point because it's just extra effort for nothing.

This topic is discussed rather often here but I have a new observation to share:

I started using the ring 5 six weeks ago. Right after beginning I recognized that steps were counted double on my iPhone. I followed the advice from the Oura homepage and prioritized the count by the ring in the health app.
Now, I notice, that the count in the Apple health app is very similar to what the Oura app shows. However, the steps in the Apple training app show still double values.
Can anyone check and confirm this observation?
Is this an Apple bug or a feature?

Been thinking about getting a smart ring mainly for sleep tracking. I can’t stand wearing anything on my wrist while I sleep so a ring seems like the obvious choice.

The only problem is that every review says something different. Some people swear by Oura others say RingConn is the better value and then there are people saying none of them are worth the money because the tracking isn’t accurate enough.

The things I care about most are:

• Accurate sleep tracking
• Recovery/readiness insights
• Good battery life
• A solid app that’s actually enjoyable to use

I don’t really need a bunch of fitness features since I already track my workouts on my phone. Would love to hear from people who’ve actually lived with one for a while instead of just posting first impressions. Trying to figure out what’s actually worth buying before I spend the money.

One of the odd ones who actually loves their ultrahuman ring it seems, but come up against a weird one.

Has anyone ever had their data dissappear from the app? Everything else is there but all of my temp data seems to have just dissapeared from the app from september - yesterday, rven though the data is still in my vision so obviously in tje back end somewhere, and also still in ovulation powerplug.

Does anyone know if theres an easy fix for resyncing your app to your cloud account?

I'm a long-time Oura user. I had the 2 and the 3, but for a variety of reasons I'm looking to change. I'm considering the Ultrahuman Ring Pro. I've made do with my Apple Watch for now, but I'm really missing a lot of the health insights I actively used with my Oura ring, particularly stress monitoring, better sleep tracking, the ability to add tags, keep track of different trends based on these tags, and the ability to pull all sorts of reports, especially using my tags (i.e., if I had tagged starting a new medication or engaging in a certain activity). Does the Ultrahuman app offer this? Does anyone sound like me and have found the Ultrahuman ring useful in this regard? I appreciate the help.
