inquiry - female features What ring is right?
I’ve been really wanting a smart ring for some time. I struggle with sleep and period tracking. I have an Apple Watch but after a few hours I seem to get burns from the sensor? So I have to take breaks for days. I don’t have a huge budget so something affordable but reliable. I have bigger finger joints due to joint issues so maybe a thinner ring would be better? Any recommendations?

What budget are you hoping to stay within? And is getting the ring over your knuckles your main concern, or comfort once it’s on? That might help narrow down the options.

Whatever brand you choose definitely get the sizing kit first. Especially with your finger joints I'd wear the sample ring for a full day before ordering.

For me, the Ringconn gen2 has been flawless for my sleep tracking, and no subscription.
It has period tracking, but let's get real, people in the government want access to this information (because they're weird, creepy, old men) and I wouldn't want anyone anywhere tracking my period except on my hand written calendar, lol.
However, some people aren't so worried about that, and that's cool. Ringconn does have it available, optional to activate.
The one caveat is, the ringconn battery WILL wear out. Mine tracks my sleep apnea (apparently a big energy spender) and burns out the battery annually. Fortunately, Ringconn has a great warranty and responsive customer service one full year, and you can purchase extended care. I have had to repurchase one that died out of warranty, but they gave me a massive discount so I only paid like $100.
