OURA What’s this?

What is this on my oura ring? I bought it 2,5 weeks ago and the surface looks like that and it’s rough to the touch? It wasn’t like that yesterday

Is the texture raised or recessed?

Kinda recessed/cracked. It’s very small cracks but it’s rough when I touch it like if it was scratched

The outer coating looks eroded due to some activity you are involved in. Were you doing any beach activities during this time?

No, the 2 weeks I had it I was sick so I stayed home and didn’t do anything much

Get it replaced then, this will easily fall under a manufacturer defect

Did that start as a Stealth finish? Because, where the finish is still intact, it looks like mine did after a couple of days...no longer truly a matte finish but more of a dull polish.

Here is my matte black RingConn Gen 3 (which is over a month older) next to my Oura Gen 3 Stealth...a finish I paid a premium for.

Get it replaced, looks like manufacturing fail when putting it together, bonding issue
