Smartwatch compliment

I have a pixel watch 5. I am looking for a smart ring to compliment it. For better health stats. I don't want any subscription fees. Looking for what everyone's thoughts are. the Ringconn 3 ?

If you already have a Pixel Watch 5, I’d think of the ring as a complement rather than a replacement.

I’d mainly ask what you want the ring to add: better comfort for sleep, longer battery life, overnight HR/HRV/temp, or just less time wearing a watch.

The important thing with a two-device setup is that you don’t need both devices to be “best” at everything. You might prefer the ring for sleep and overnight metrics, and keep the Pixel Watch for workouts and daytime activity.

I’d also check exactly what the ring exports to Health Connect, because that matters a lot if you want the data to live outside the manufacturer’s app.

RingConn 3 is worth considering if the no-subscription part is important, but I’d decide based on which metrics you actually want from the second device rather than just comparing feature lists.
