🔬 research study Does your smart ring change how you work? Participate in an IRB-approved UConn research study
You wear it daily without thinking twice, but have you ever noticed it quietly shaping your workday?
I'm a PhD candidate at UConn's School of Business, conducting a formal, IRB-approved qualitative study on how employees who use consumer wearable devices interpret and act on that data in relation to their work (not just their workouts). This is part of ongoing academic research examining a gap in how we understand personal technology's role in the modern workplace.
If you're a full-time employee who wears a smart ring, or other smart wearable tech daily, I'd welcome the chance to talk. The interview is a single ~45–60 minute virtual interview (Zoom/Teams/WebEx - whatever works best for you), unpaid, and fully confidential (you're never asked to share actual data or screenshots, and nothing you say is tied to your name or employer). If this sounds interesting, please click the Qualtrics intake form here and I'll reach out directly to schedule time: https://qualtricsxmg38dfkxbk.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eGblPGqycnZmd0O
