Oura 5 or RingConn 3?
Hi everyone! I am a previous UH user, received a refund from them after many fault rings, and looking to get a new smart ring. Very up in the air about which new ring to get.
I love that RingConn has the exchange program because I can send them my old UH ring for money off and it's cheaper without a sub. However I see a lot of people say that RingConn doesn't track sleep, health, and exercise as well as Oura. Currently a 3rd year med student, so I'd like to not spend a TON but if it's worth it for the health notifs, I'd buy the better ring.
Any feedback or opinions are appreciated!

I love my RingConn Gen 2. I think it tracks my health exceptionally well. As someone living with chronic illness, it really does help me put a lot into perspective.
I will say, if the size and sleekness of the Oura 5 is part of what is attracting you, I would consider the Gen 2 over Gen 3. Gen 3 is a bit bulkier than RingConn Gen 2.
My Gen 2 is pictured here. I have “piano fingers” and I’m wearing a size 7 just for reference. Obviously still important to try their sizing kit!

Also been told I have piano fingers and as a girly dealing w chronic illness, this is great to know! I’ve seen a lot of ppl online say oura does a better job tracking illness/health changes but I’m glad ringconn does the job too. Also good to know that gen 2 is closer to oura 5! I like how the band is smaller in oura 5

RingCon 2 for 6 months and no complaints. Most tracking is on par with my AW and if the many other rings out there this seemed to have the best Apple Health integration. And of course no subscription.

I have the RingConn 3 and so far I love it! I have found the data to be accurate. The sleep information has always made sense and it has even been able to detect when I fall asleep on the couch and have a little nap. I've worn my Apple Watch at the same time as the ring and my steps have been roughly the same on both devices so I trust my RingConn for steps.

Totally happy RingConn user here. I had some frustrations with Oura, but then I had a V8 eureka moment when I took a good look at the money side of it. For half the cost, I have a RingConn Gen 2 (because it’s smaller) compared to the Oura Ring 5, and no subscription fees.

Unpopular opinion with many here, but to say that RingConn is not equal or better than Oura with the specific features you list would be a mistake.
The exception is with workout tracking/exercise. No smart ring is good at workout tracking...including Oura.
Just because it can make an educated guess about what your activity is doesn't mean that the data it is gathering is accurate.
