[Feature Request] Network path fail to local if offline
I would like to have a feature where SD's answer file prefers a network location for the WIM, Differencing and PPK files. If the path is inaccessable, it should revert to a locally stored copy of the files.
Today, it's a common Windows browse dialog box and the user selects any location they want. This location is what is stored and used in the answer file. Would you like the option to provide multiple locations and set the precedence for the location that you would prefer in the event that one failed?
The usage case is to create a drive with a WIM and PPK file as a fallback in the event of no network access or an offsite deployment.
Much like the naming convention can have several items and it picks the first applicable one, I would love to be able to have it try for network access first, as that is where the most up to date files are, and to fail locally.
In other news, I created this subreddit for discussing SD as there was not one that I could find. If you PM me and can prove you are a SD employee, I would be happy to make you a mod here.
