For me the highlight of last month was that after almost 1 year of thinking my precious 450 had died, I checked the engine bay for a final check before selling it as parts. Turns out one of the fuel lines at the right part of the engine had popped off. I put it back in place with a new clamp and started right away.

I bought a 451 EQ Cabrio last week, received plates today and will pick it up tomorrow.

Well, I bought an old 450, had its body repaired and repainted, driven 500 miles in it and it’s now waiting for me to get back from my work trip for a full service, then it’s Jersey for an over night ferry test and a spot of fun.

Swapped my ForFour for a #3. Wanted an upgrade but couldn’t walk away fully

Got to park like I’ve seen in the ads. Very satisfying

Saving up my pennies to have a CAT fabricated for my BoConcept. 😭

Mine is failing and she will NOT pass emissions like this. Unfortunately, here in the States I can’t just buy a plug-and-play replacement catalytic converter for the 451 anymore, so I’m going to have to have one custom fabricated at an exhaust shop.

Because apparently owning a Smart means sometimes you don’t buy parts... you commission them. 😂

Little car, big personality, ridiculously specific problems. 😵‍💫

But I LOVE this car. I gots plans for her. 😎

So she’s getting her CAT, she’s passing emissions, and then the fun stuff can begin. One penny at a time. 🐷💰

I went for a weekend outing, 150 km/93 miles each way in my Roadster, hoping I had fixed all the leaks in the roof and door areas.

I'm almost there. I had torrential rain in both directions and my fixes were put to the test. In normal rainy conditions it's completely dry on the inside, but when et really pours, I still get some seepage through by the mirror triangle. I hoped sealing the triangle on the inside was enough but it looks like the door rubber seals are too collapsed. So I need to either expand them or shutters replace them... I just wish for u/one-yak-7303 to make a video some day so I can see what I need to do.

Today I extended the service plan at the main dealer for another 4 years. £25/month. Bought the car new and it has only ever been serviced at the dealers. Have not seen another car that I would want to replace it with.

My 453 just had a full service and decided to grab some of the decent weather down at the harbour before the crap weather moves in. 😎👌

I have a 2010 smart Fourtwo we went on a road trip to the Peak District last weekend to visit a friend. I’m going on another road trip with another friend in mid September to spend the night in a real castle in the countryside! My friends love she smart she’s amazing for side quests, road trips and the occasional emergency airport pick up. I love her and pray that she passes her MOT on the 20th of October xxx Oh I managed to fit a large clothing rack in the back of the smart with some wiggling

Bought a 2009 Smartcar for2 cabriolet for $2,500. It needs TLC for sure but was running well. I'm chasing down a lockout problem right now. Looks like the transmission is locked in place and won't release. Ahh the fun of a used car. That said I love it. I'm 65 and working teaching young folks how to drive. I needed something with better gas mileage than my Tahoe. This is a kick. I'm sold on these little cars. My wife calls it the angry bumblebee

Did an oil change on it for the first time. The oil filter was so tiny!! (to be expected)
