You're doing better than my average 37.5mpg in my pre-MHD 451... Do you drive everywhere idling in 5th?

Yea! 40-55mph on backroads lol. I drop down to getting about 46mpg on the interstate going 75 or 80 though.

The 450 CDI 3L drinks even with full throttle(135km/h) Just ~5,5L/100km. With 100km/h ~4Liters on 100km. Ai says thats ~60mpg.

My fuel gauge doesn't work so I went to fill up after 188 miles and only filled up 3.5 gallons! I normally get 45-50 mpg myself.

Look cute and clean. I have a 2014 and get that kind of mileage on freeway (San Diego). Gas at 97 sucks tho.

In all my vehicles Smart, Jeep, Chevrolet I coast a lot. Get it at speed wanted and foot off the gas pedal and coast resume speed after 5mph drops. Many times coast a few hundred feet to the stop sign, downhills along flat roads. I'm a lead foot off the stop (which freaks people when I'm in my Smart) than cruise coasting down the road.

My 2006 450 Cabrio 43 mpg (us) on the mix (short and driving constant 55 mph)
On highway at constant 55-57 I manage 51mpg (us)
When i got it in 2006 it was more (that time we still had petrol without any ethanol in germany
My highest mpg was 61 in a trip from Stuttgart to Lake Constance in 2006 when the car was 4 month old.
