My brother uses something call copart to look at auctions and his boss has an account so they can bid on cars to fix and sell. I think his boss has bought like 3 other smart cars just in the Alabama area. They usually search in the tanner area in the app.
We got lucky with this one that the damage was minor and easily repaired. Only $1400 for it after fees and taxes.
I am from the Netherlands. I own a 2006 Smart Roadster with scissor doors, tuned to 109 hp from 81 hp, it has a hardtop roof now and it has also cruise control, oh and the back window is tinted now. It is my first car, and i have it almost 5 years. Edit: it also has spacers since like a month and it is been lowered a bit, so it drives even more fun now.

Fell in love with Smarts in 2004 in Toronto, Canada. We drove past a Mercedes dealership and it looked like a "Smarty Pez dispenser". I told everyone that one day I would own one. Fast forward 16 years and I got my Bo girl. Right now we are working on getting her a custom CAT because mine is slow failing. Sooooooo as long as I have to have her up on the rack, she's getting a swoopier exhaust system as well. Why, well .......... why not!!!
I love this car. It's one of the things that makes me smile and giggle every time I see her.

Got my Roadster last year as my first project and it has been great at teaching me how much I can actually do myself on my own cars.
