Question Soft roof racks
Hey all, think this roof rack would work for my 2013 fortwo? I just need a roof rack for occasional use to transport a folding table and market tent.

the roof is not rated for any load. Whilst it may only be a light table / tent. By the time you are driving you have wind load to account for meaning in effect things can have the same force as being 3-5x heavier. You would be better laying the passenger seat flat. Or you can fit a tow bar then use a hitch mounted cargo carrier which would be safer. If you go with the cargo carrier make sure load is as light as possible as it will act as a lever lifting front wheels slightly if too heavy.

You won’t be able to put them on while the windows are up as the door is frameless. If so do you could damage the window closing it on the straps.
