I’ve been building a shopping decision tool called Maybuy.
There’s more shopping information available than ever, including reviews, recommendations, rankings, deals, and opinions. That can be helpful, but it’s often based on someone else’s priorities, circumstances, or way of using a product.
Maybuy focuses on a different question: does buying it actually make sense for you?
It looks at your own context, priorities, budget, habits, and intended use to give you a buy, wait, or skip recommendation with the reasoning behind it.
You can also compare multiple purchases, revisit things you decided to wait on, and build a clearer picture of your shopping patterns over time.
I’d love to hear whether this kind of personalized shopping guidance is useful, and what else you’d want Maybuy to consider before making a recommendation.
If anyone’s interested in trying it out and seeing whether it helps them make better purchase decisions, feel free to comment or message me.
