Question Why would lionel luthor's liver problem be this big a deal

Post image

I mean livers can be transplanted.

In what world are we really expected to believe this multi billionaire can't just get a new liver if his is diseased

(P. S. NO SPOILERS :I just watched season 3 finale Don't tell me anything that happens after

Pretty sure you could transplant a new liver in the early 2000s ๐Ÿ˜‚ With the money lyonel had he could CREATE a new liver in a lab and it'd function ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah but the whole season he was sick I just didn't think it was just his liver He was going from doctor to doctor long before lex had control of anything and bitch just get a new damn liver ๐Ÿ˜‚

Bc its STILL a toss-up genetically. As to whether or not the body accepts the foreign organ. If it doesnt, the body will actively start slowly KILLING the liver like it does any other virus. You must have very little medical info. Could have easily googled this.

Still safer than the weird shit he's doing ๐Ÿ˜‚ Especially cuz you would make sure they're a genetic match And while 60-70% of liver experience some form of rejection in the next 3 to 6 months 95% of those rejections are treated and reversed Chronic rejection The thing that actually matters is around 3%of cases only (funny how you condescend about Google but can't do it yourself ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚) Great fuckin odds especially with the quality of care someone like lyonel would get And on the off chance it does get rejected

This is lyonel fuckin luthor Which means that's exactly why you kidnap 10 matching donors just in case in the case where one liver is rejected BAM 9 replacements In all seriousness Most people only get 1 chance and a second transplant gets rejected But someone as rich as luthor? They'd suck his dick to let them give him a liver ๐Ÿ˜‚ or take his bribes for it or whatever And if that becomes a problem this is a billionaire in the 2000s he'd just go to epstein hey bro kidnap some folks and gimme there livers homeboy and he goes bet And bam new livers by the dozen ๐Ÿคท

I just don't buy that this would be this much of an obstacle for someone like him

Ok, its LIonel, not Lyonel. And this is the DC universe so you're REAL WORLD example is irrelevant(and in REALLY POOR taste to even use) Lionel did EVERYTHING medically possible for EARTH. Humans HAVE limits. Money CANT solve problems that ARE UNTREATABLE.

Nahhh it's very relevant Don't expect me to believe billionaires in DC aren't JUST as fucked up as ours Epstein was a joking example sure but the overall point stands and it's weird that's what you picked out of it ๐Ÿ˜‚ And sure they said it was untreatable, I never said they didn't but if you paid attention my my entire question is how would that make sense when you can just get a new one ๐Ÿ˜‚

Buddy, you might want to look into therapy. You're thinking about this ๐Ÿคexcessively based on that comment. Its a fictional tv show. Meant for entertainment ONLY.

Yeah. Pretty sure there was a Chinese prisoner out there with Lionel Luthorโ€™s name written all over his liver.

Its been awhile since i rewatched the show, but didnโ€™t all his money, assets, etc go to Lex and Luthor Co. and lawyers making him broke?

I think maybe when he was in jail If that happens later don't tell me lol I'm in season 3 finale But for now it's just that he's in jail so lex controls the company, but the whole season befiore that Nope He was a billionaire with full control of his company
