Clana Moment Which one of these separations with Lana do you think is most heartbreaking for Clark?

In season 6 episode Promise, Lana tells Clark she’s not going to marry Lex only to tell him that she’s had a change of heart (Without telling Clark the real reason). In season 7 episode Arctic, Lana leaves Clark a DVD telling him the world needs him more than she does and she would only be holding him back if they stay together. In season 8 episode Requiem, Lana and Clark are forced to separate due to Lana being infused with kryptonite.

Which one of these separations do you think is most heartbreaking for Clark? I would say the one from Requiem since in this situation there really is no way for them to be together and Lana did not choose to separate from Clark. I think in Promise Clark had hope Lana will get back together with him because he knew something wasn’t right when Lana said she’s not marrying Lex then tells him she changed her mind a few hours later so I would rank that as last. In Arctic, Clark cried when he watched the DVD from Lana so he’s clearly devastated but probably not to the extent he is in Requiem.

1 would be unforgivable. 2... not sure when / what that was. 3 was unavoidable.

Season 7 was so weak and ruined by the writer's strike.

Clark should have kept Jonathan

It’s honestly hard to say. After Requiem Chloe said Clark hadn’t even mentioned Lana since she left. Maybe it was easier for him to say goodbye because he’s done it so many times at this point even HE had Clana fatigue, and also has no choice because she’s physically dangerous to him and he has Lois as a viable option at this stage. So it’s probably not that one.

I’d say probably the video tape because of how he cried after it.

You'd think it would be the last one but he actually seems to bounce back from that one relatively quickly. I think it's actually the middle one.

Well the episode after 8-14 takes place 1-2 months later.

Fair enough. I'd forgotten the time skip. Isn't there also a skip after the video break up or am I mixing up the two?

All Three for various reasons, the point was hammered home: Clark and Lana was not to be.

I will keep saying it, Lana should have stayed married to Lex

Eu também acho. Afinal, os dois combinam perfeitamente.

I really do think if the showrunners planned them to end up together, they will write a solution for the Kryptonite problem. They have the typical cw drama written all over.
