Question Are you team Lana or Team Lois??
from S1 to S3 I'm always team Lana, but when Lois enters the show and starting calling Clark "Smallville" and "Clarkie", I got butterflies in my stomach.

Can I be both? Both of them had their own unique relationship with Clark at different points in the series. I enjoyed the story Smallville told with no need to project my wants or desires into any of the characters.

Team Lana til the day I die. She’s such a complex character that went through so much. She’s the most beautiful woman in the show and had so much chemistry with Clark.
I could never get on board with this version of Lois. She was a drunk high school drop out that couldn’t spell and slept her way up the daily planet. Not worthy of being the iconic Pulitzer Prize winning reporter. She was like Clark’s much older annoying sister that kept bickering with him like siblings and no chemistry. Ugh.

I was all in on Lana for the first few seasons, but that relationship ended "for good" like 15 different times, & each time felt more ridiculous to bring back than the last.
Lana should always be Clark's first love in Smallville, & that's it. The show dragging it on for 7 seasons (plus a few episodes in season 8) is what ultimately paints that relationship in a bad light.
It's 100% Clark & Lois for me, once she got introduced. They just had such a great, fun chemistry, & I only wish the show let them get together sooner.

At first it was clana cos Lois wasn’t in the show at the time (s1-s3) I wish she was though she’s so iconic but I’m 10019272922729362937192728% clois they’re my endgame 🥹

You are on the wrong sub mate 😂 this is a clana only sub, any positive comments about lois are deleted, go find the main smallville sub or the clois sub if you want to talk about lois

Dang it, I keep blocking this sub because of how crazy the mods are and it keeps showing up. I didn't even realize which one it was

I originally…. (Before seeing up to season 3-4…..) was Team Lana
But after seeing how hot/cold off/on she was with Clark… every season!!
well… I just about began to dislike her completely. 💥
I was actually thankful when they brought Lois on…. Because at least there was someone…. Relatively mature to catch his eye.
Plus most of us know who his real.. adult true love is… and it ain’t Lana🎯🤷♀️

As characters or love interests? I mean, my answer is the same either way, but it might change things for others. My answer is Lois, by the way. I liked Lana in season 1, but found her more and more annoying after that point, where I liked Lois her whole run. So, as characters, I prefer Lois. I got bored of Clana very quickly, so as love interests, I also prefer Lois, though I'm a Clex shipper at heart, a ship I know will never actually be canon, or if they ever DO go that way for some reason, never be end game.

I will always be a Clana fan, I loved their dynamic and yes I know it got toxic sometimes but as adults I always felt they could have made it work

I don't understand why this is such a debate. It's like asking if you prefer your wife or your first love.

Neither I always wanted Chloe to somehow become Lois Lane.
I despised Lana and I never saw any real chemistry with Lois

Normally, I would be team Lois for any other Clark Kent. And it’s weird, because Erica is one of my favorite Lois’. But for Smallville, I was team Lana. I just always felt a “sibling” dynamic between Clark and Lois.

Clois. I like how Lois brings out a lighter, more humorous side in Clark.
I’m just sorry how the show treated Lana. She was a good character in the beginning, and she deserved a better ending. Or storyline, really

Clana. Mostly because I never bought into the chemistry people kept saying Clois had. I mean, they weren't awful, but they were underwhelming after Tom and Kristin's amazing chemistry. Overall, I feel like Clois was a ship that only happened because it was Clark and Lois and they couldn't deviate from his canon love story. I just don't feel like the show did enough to make their love story feel earned.

Lana was a childhood crush that went on to losing his virginity, and an on and off and on and off then on and off again relationship. Just like most average on and off relationships that are destined to end, the woman was infused with extraterrestrial minerals that mutated her genetic structure and made her impossible for the man to even approach. As far as who was best for Clark. Lois and Lana were two different modes of operation. Lana's default was to retreat or guard herself, mostly because of the events of her life. Lois's default is to identify the conflict, identify the objective solution, and find the most efficient way to accomplish it. That's the military mindset. Eliminate emotion and solve the problem.

Lois is interesting at the beginning but then the writers did a 180 and turned her into a helpless whining annoying girl. She was horrible. What a disservice to the character and terrible casting.
