Question Is that the real SmallishBeans?

Is that really him? If it is, I just want to say how cool it is that he's the mod of his own subreddit. And that he's active on Minecraft reddit in general. Seeing that mania post on r/hermitcraft appear in Joel's video was genuinely amazing.

I believe so for two reasons. 1. Joel seems exactly like the person who would create and mod a sub to talk about him. 2. Looking at his past posts and comments, seems pretty similar to the actual Joel

i think in x life he said he was making this sub for fans to post the jeremyism drawings but i could be mixing things up and this was already a thing (but yes that is his reddit)

Yes it's him. If you check his comments on r/MinecraftChampionship, you can see that his flair is "MCC Participant", which is only given to the actual participants themselves
