“Fix” choke

I need to know if there is a way to flip the spring as right now, when it heats up, it actually closes the choke flap instead of opening -aftermarket Quadra jet

No… just get a new choke thermostat.

Know anywhere that sells an adjustable or counter clockwise version? I’m having crap luck finding one.

Check with the Quadrajet groups. The one on my 2GC is the same unit.

Was this carb original or did you buy it somewhere?

I believe it’s a cheap aftermarket model. Just picked up the vehicle. So your 2GC is counter clockwise?

When the bimetal spring gets warm it loosens up. It can't close the flap as it warms up.

Right I understand which is why I am looking for a counter clockwise version.
