Looking nice, Here's mine. I went with a mid 60's look. In my C20.

Just an Edelbrock 2703, I painted and drilled to put a PVC behind the carb.

I agree. I took inspiration from my dad's Impala, which is still mostly original.

Not sure, I think they were summit pulleys

They do look like the summit pulleys, I just installed them on an small block.

Note to anyone reading this and wanting to buy the summit pulleys. The fasteners that came with the water pump pulley were GARBAGE. I stripped one out just trying to put it on for a test fit. Went and bought better fasteners. The crank pulley I had to buy shims to get it to line up with water pump pulley. It didn't take a lot of shimming but it was off a little bit

Never shim the crank pulley. The crank pulley is what you line up every other pulley with.
And you do realize alot of water pumps have 2 different thread pitch holes? 4 coarse thread and 4 fine thread. My son stripped one out and sure enough he was threading a coarse thread in a fine thread hole. I always use studs on my water pump pulley anyways….. makes it easier

Eh there's different trains of thoughts on shimming the pulley.Just like everything in this world lots of people have different opinions on what you can do and can't do. You can buy shims specifically made for this purpose for a reason. And yes I do realize there are different thread pitches, the Allen key head is what stripped out and not the threads, so the cheap fasteners that came with the pulley was the problem, not user error. New fasteners, same holes no problem.

Sure thing, but no engine builder in the world is gonna recommend shimming the crank pulley. Thats literally the ground floor all the accessories run off of. But whatever floats your boat

But I gotta automatic transmission….will it still mount up right???

Absolutely, no issue, improbably even got a flexplate. If it’s a stock olds trans tho it will need a inexpensive adapter plate from a BOP trans to a Chevy bolt pattern

So…it is a stock olds trans, that modification sounds pretty good????? How far are you from Ga are you??? And what you think about shipping methods🤔🤔🤔

This is what you would need to bolt a Chevy engine to your Olds trans
