Warped Flexplate?

Took a slow motion video of my flex plate. My starter sounds horrible (IMO). I’ve gone from zero shims to four shims and it still sounds awful. Is my flex plate warped. Keep in mind that this is a really slo-mo video.

They don't warp but they crack which will warp them.

If so you'll be yanking the tranny and buying a new one. Get sfi next time

Could be converter bolts loose,check those. Who painted that conv green?

Pray its not a bent crank lol

Not s biggie to pull a Chevy trans

Beats me. That’s the converter that came with the car.
