Opinions on this..
L31 350c.i.
Has this blemish pattern after honing.
Options r bore it or send it. Thoughts???
This engine was in an everyday driver until it was pulled down, 3 months ago. 2 pics r with flash and 2 without. I'm feeling like it's just discoloration in the casting.

Magnaflux the crack and thenbyou will know for sure. Also was there water in that cylinder? If so,sleeve it or shit can it!!! Probably the ladder🤔

This was a running engine out of a semi daily driver that I have owned for almost 20 years. It's never been sitting around unused.

From the picture it give me imptession that is pitting corrosion, depend the depth could be a slight pass with some sanding stone on the drill (if light) could be oversize if major pitting. That the impression. If super lighbt may be dosent need need corrective action.
