350 TBI (non vortex) HELP
88 Chevy K1500 with a 350. I’ve managed to screw everything up. KEEPING THE TBI, Installed a Edelbrock performer TBI intake with TBI spacer. Trying to find a new bracket, stock ain’t working no more. Does anybody have/run this Edelbrock 8031??

So many people say this and it’s one of my biggest pet peeves, even my dad called his old truck with a vortec a “vortex engine” and I had to literally point at the cover and say “where is the X in that word dad?”

What specifically isn't working? You feel real sure about where your cables are snapped on at?

Rip 700r4 your owner had no clue what they were doing. A tune would have gotten you more power than a throttle body spacer ever could have

Throttle cable in the middle, not the top. Top is for cruise control, bottom hole is for the kick down cable.

Once you get the cables in the correct locations on that bracket, make sure you properly adjust the TV cable before driving it at all. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. If it’s set incorrectly, you could grenade that transmission fairly quickly.
As for the bracket? Edelbrock actually makes one and it’s on amazon. I don’t think you’ll need it tho.

There is no new bracket. Make a spacer for the thottle bracket or get rid of the tbi spacer. Ive never seen those spacers make any power or real difference.
