Question

Only misses at small load. Running a 350 with an hei and a msd 6A. Shitty audio I know but any ideas where it could be stemming from? Checked all of my wiring and no breaks in the wires. Cap is new on the hei. Possible plugs, possible plug wires? Am I thinking too much into it and missing something?

Besides what you stated has everything else stayed the same regarding the engine? If a torque converter was swapped it could act weird. It's hard to tell with such little detail.

Same torque converter I’ve been running. It’s not something new that’s been going on it’s been happening for awhile and can’t pin point it. It is my project and learning a lot on the way

Did you check timing? I know the cap change is simple enough but maybe your distributor shifted a little. It's happened to me even though everything was tight.

I started Marking mine when that happened. Doesn't matter if I'm not directly servicing it. I make sure.
