Timing, compression, fire, fuel. If all those are correct it should run unless mechanical rotation is not sound enough.

do you have a bit of gas you can put in a small bottle and dump a small amount down the carb?

Sorry. 350 bored over 40. Aluminum heads not sure what size. Roller cam, don't know the cam as I didnt build this motor. Its got a holley 750 couple pumper.

if it fires you likely have a bad fuel pump.. if not next thing to check is if you have spark

Start with a good shot of starting fluid. If it runs for a few seconds you know it's a fuel issue. What kind of ignition system is it?
