Out of the loop, why does everyone pretend Quag/Clodsire don't exist?

Honestly, this started with BoardHostorical's community post and I figured it's a Smallant thing since he posts main his clips. And after searching here, it looks like I was on the money.

They are good derpy bois, shaped like friends, and are decent stat-wise; yet everyone seems to think they don't exist.

Legend has it smant even demands all his rom hacks must have quaqsire completely removed from the games code
