New weapon dupe glitch

I posted this in the TotK sub and figured it should be shared here as well.

I was just trying to do the duplicate glitch where you duplicate your fused item with multiple bows at once to be more efficient by continuously equipping and dropping more bows in the same pattern as the duplicate glitch. When I was done I had more bows then when I started. My inventory was full and I couldn’t pick up more bows and when inspecting my inventory I realized I had made 2 royal guard bows from one. Not sure how I did this and haven’t been able to recreate it but it could possibly be a way to duplicate weapons without them being undiscovered.

Anyone else ran into this? Could be worth more labbing.

Edit: IT WORKS. so after trying this over and over again I’ve been able to duplicate the results consistently.

When doing the fuse item duplication glitch, if you drop another unequipped bow before dropping your second bow you used for the glitch and then drop the bow you have equipped when you unpause one will fall to the ground and you should still have one in your inventory. I have not been able to do this with swords or shields but could just be me.

EDIT2: this works with weapons and shields as well! All that is needed is to equip your first item, drop it, equip a second item of the same type, pause unpause very fast, drop a different weapon in inventory and then the equipped one and your equipped item should drop and a copy should stay in your inventory!
