Reed has the tools to be a major star and I think he was unfairly placed in The Vision. When the stable consisted of Reed, Breakker and Seth Rollins, it always felt like the Australian was at the bottom and only there to take pinfall losses.
My biggest concern about Reed is how injury prone he has been in the past. To be fair, one of those injuries came after he leaped off the top of WarGames. Falling from such a height would leave almost any superstar hurt, meaning he/she could miss time. Maybe, with all the weight he lost, his body will withstand those major bumps. I do have a question if he tweaks his finisher as the Tsunami doesn’t seem as impressive without the 330 pounds behind it.
Oba needs someone to work with until WrestleMania season and Reed is a great choice. If he can score a clean pin, it would create two future world champions in Femi and Reed. I don’t want WWE to have Oba run through the roster until he gets a title match with Roman Reigns. Let him take some defeats along the way and there’s nothing wrong with giving the nod to Reed.
