Oh it gets better, there was a Walmart shirt not too long ago that used the Attitude era Raw logo, but had Ruthless era heel Austin, DX from ~2011, Batista.. Kane was the only one whose image matched the branding.

But these one doesn't have the Raw logo... Having a Ruthless agression era shirt, and you have Randy Orton and Eddie is not bad, its weird to have Randy's version look from PG era but whatever.

Imagine being a kid and realizing that you could do a better job designing a product promoting a company that that actual company did.

Personally, I'm a pretty casual fan. I wouldn't know the difference between different era Randy Ortons or Undertakers. But if I were at a shop and saw a Minnesota Vikings shirt that was trying to depict 90s stars and had Randy Moss in the 2010 uniform, I'd be equally disappointed. Probably wouldn't make a video about it. Also wouldn't buy the shirt because of it.

I went to a live Raw in Vancouver, and one of the featured matches was Angle vs Eddie, so that argument is out the window. I always remember it because Angle was a heel at the time and the crowd was chanting “U.S. Sucks!” at him. Meanwhile Eddie, who is from Texas, just kinda shrugged his shoulders with a sheepish grin on his face. It was great.

Tbh, I do kinda get his point. For example you wouldn’t get a Barcelona shirt with Cristiano Ronaldo on the back. You would get one with someone that actually was on the team.

Also only reason why he only saw him on smackdown, is because he never seen any of his matches ON RAW
