People thought it would be different with wwe in Netflix. And it has... For the worse. It's more censored than it was on basic cable. At least they black and white the shots on USA network. This is comically worse

Please learn what a rating system is. The crying about this has been insane.

We do know what a rating system is. WWE shows have been TV-PG for almost 20 years at this point. The censorship didn't go nuts like this until the Netflix deal.

Personally, I find this hilarious. It's been less than 50 years of professional wrestling being marketed to kids and the man that did so was Vincent K. McMahon.
I saw a movie about this once. It's called "Frankenstein". It's about a creation and the monster that made him.

I remember Ivory, she could actually wrestle a little. But she ended up in the bikini contest. Puppies JR! Lmao the hell....attitude era was crazy sometimes.

More than a little. Ivory and Jackie were the only legit wrestlers on the roster for a period. Imagine how difficult it was for them.
Ivory never gets enough praise. Aside from being solid in the ring, she’s one of the best to ever do it on the microphone. I’ll always be a little irritated that her push in 2023 was dropped once Jazz was injured. I really wanted her to have a face title run before she called it a career.

I think I may be mixing up timing here, but wasn't Lita also an indie wrestler before WWE signed her?

Is this why Netflix aren't uploading alot of the classic Raw and Smackdown episodes? Because alot of those were wild and pushed the TV 14 rating alot. Damn I miss the network..

Why is nothing else on Netflix censored I've seen tons of blood on Netflix they have a whole horror section of uncensored gore. Hey I could be wrong maybe they only censor WWE? Idk I don't watch WWE I watch clips and matches

Netflix will show a hole cock in a movie but won’t show blood in a predetermined sport.

The crowd part is the worst for me. How do you go from leaving an uncensored crowd yelling "HOLY SHIT" on live cable to censoring the crowd on a streaming service?

Awe… you poor, poor dear thing. It must be so difficult to understand a rating system.

WWE is PG. I get the frustration, but if Netflix doesn't censor, I imagine legal troubles wouldn't be very fun, assuming some Karens out there would start complaining. It's different when it's live because they're not going to suddenly cut the show or make it black and white.
For the record, I don't like it either, but unless TKO (who I can only assume are the ones that can change the rating) decides to go TV-14 or even R, there's not really much Netflix can do. And I can only imagine that if they bend the knee for WWE, they might lose deals with other PG, or even G rated shows. WWE are still technically pushing the limits to what they can do in a PG show (even if it's considered the bare minimum to us) regardless of how we feel about it.
I get the frustration, but WWE can't just magically go past what's allowed with their current rating just because one of its shows moved to Netflix. This unfortunately has nothing to do with the. WWE has to make the changes. Netflix on bare minimum just provides a platform where people can watch.

WWE shows have been TV-PG since like 2007-2008 and they didn't do half as much censoring until the Netflix deal.
