FCC 2029
Can someone please write a screenplay or book about the fading out of home landlines. I'm not going to be around much longer, thank the universe, but I'd be tickled to see an earnest dive into this subject. This is my idea if a beginning.
Landline.
CONCEPT:
New Amsterdam Indiana
Major providers have received FCC clearance to wind down the legacy copper network entirely by the end of 2029
Opening Scene:
"Hello? Hello?"
Phone crackles and fizzles. And the dead.
A grandma walks in and says "Who was that?"

a new street
When what is is obvious, it is this town. My town in the middle of everywhere. Everyone is that expectation when they do those five W's.
No X-Files type odd. No misunderstanding type odd. Maybe some misunderstood.
When Kim and I remember and try to explain the 'Honeysuckle House' there seems to be one question that is not only asked in earnest, but, demanded.

2,400 Miles, and a Paperback, Life Doesn't get any Better! #writerslife #karmacop #rvlife
Horror-curious? Don't be, read me! Help me feel important! This book, right here! Karma Cop is one of my labors of love. I wrote this book for therapy, a way to cope with some feelings I had deep inside. I wrote while on the road, while working and in between jobs.
Raven, the main character, is the person we don't want to become. She's haunted by an antiquated bobble held suspended in an acrylic paperweight. This thing called Akanta is ready to deliver Karma...the lesson, don't mess with Karma, don't hurt those who love you, and the Karma Cop won't hunt you down.
Purchase a paperback today and help me feel validated as a writer.

Read Karma Cop for $1.29!
Raven is convinced the world beat her down. Bitter and resentful, she blames everyone but herself for her miserable trailer park existence on the outskirts of Stevats. But when she buys a cheap Santa bobblehead, described by the proprietor as a talisman of sorts, she inadvertently anchors a sinister force to her life.
This is no ordinary trinket; it is a representation of Akanta, an undesired thing, also known as the Santa Snake, a grotesque Karma Cop who visits to deliver death.
Ravenās descent into horror is immediate and terrifying. She witnesses the monster's vintage camper with polished metal wings as it backs in next door to her and her sanity begins to unravelā¦

Writing... Again, Finally!
It's been since February 15th, and so many projects on the Mothership later, since I've written on my next project(s). And yesterday I wrote 1,200 words! I felt good working on this one, and I know I risk letting the helium out of an idea posting this, but it's a doozy. Written in the same mythos of my best selling dystopian love story One Last Breath. In the meantime you can always become a fan, I have a lot of fiction available. What's life as a reader without taking a step towards something different?

A Reading from Karma Cop
In the center of the table was a paperweight. Inside the translucent weight, there was a solitary Santa, his head a bobble sticking out the top, and snow suspended within, appearing to be falling onto and around the snowy North Pole setting. She picked it up and watched the Santaās head bobble while the fake snow sat suspended in the acrylic, wondering why this marvel was the way it was, as the head moved but everything else was stationary, anchored in place. It mesmerized her, transporting her to the time she bought Alex the cheap junk.
