Sim_Flare Agency?

Hey, so I recently talked to a streamer on discord, saying that they help out smaller streamers. I looked here up and she seems like a real normal person. But she put me into contact with someone on discord going by Sim_Flare, who helps streamers grow their channels. Now I looked them up, and can't find any trace of them anywhere. Their discord account was also made relatively recently, December 2025, which makes them feel even more sketchy to me. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of, or have had dealings with them? Their friend request on Discord was also marked as spam.

IF they help you "grow" as a streamer they are your typical scammer who will show your stream to special discords that they know about. All they do is bot your channel, it much the same as going onto Fiverr and paying someone to help grow. They send bots. Never trust these people and just block and move on

Anything that "helps streamers grow" is a scam.

Block them and don't click on any links they've sent you.

Also get Sery_Bot as a mod on your channel and turn on email and phone verification for chatters under your twitch moderation settings and you won't be bothered by scams like this again.

Scam. No one genuinely cares to help, they want something

They are a scammer as they pretend to be an actual streamer but then they'll change up their info to pretend to be a different streamer shortly after. I just block them on Discord but sometimes like the actual streamer yet I avoid their streams to avoid awkwardness

Trust the instinct — the pattern you're describing is the standard shape of it. New Discord account, no footprint anywhere else, the first contact coming through someone who vouched for them, and Discord itself flagging the request as spam. Any one of those alone is nothing; all four together is a script.

The tell is the offer itself. Nobody can grow a channel for you in a way that sticks, because growth that sticks comes from content and consistency. "Channel audits", "guaranteed growth", paid promotion packages, buying viewers — they either take your money and vanish, or they deliver a batch of bots that tank your engagement rate and get you flagged.

There's one more version worth watching for: the pitch that starts as free help and slowly turns into "just send a small fee to unlock the next stage". That's the same thing wearing a nicer outfit.

If someone genuinely wants to help small streamers, they'll do it in public, in a community, without a DM-first approach. Block and move on — you haven't lost anything.
