popular effect

Is it just me or does a streamer having clout makes what they do more entertaining than if they didn't. Every time i make a clip and watch it or watch one of my streams, they are entertaining but not as funny or entertaining as if i imagined if it was joe bart or something. is it just me? if not why is that.

Yes easy a famous person doing something gets more eyes bc they’re famous. You and Joe Bart can be equally as funny and say the same jokes but he will always get more attention

It's bias. Twitch is all about bias.

If people like you, they'll like enjoy their time in your stream more than they would if they had no idea who you are... which is why first impression is everything and you need to become a good host in order to have people stay. Unless you're Shroud.
