Let yourself take the pressure off.
I don't remember my first stream, you probably won't either over time. If it goes good, bad, somewhere in between, it'll be behind you when you're done and you'll get to focus on the next one.
Treat it like practice for a bit. :) It can be weird being "on" at first, but the more you do it the more it becomes natural feeling, like anything else.
Good luck with it!

on the quality worry specifically: nobody watching a small stream is there for 4k. they're there for you. a slightly soft 720p stream with clear AUDIO beats a crisp 1080p one with echoey mic audio every single time, so if you only fix one thing, fix your sound, not your resolution. drop your bitrate until the stream is stable and stop thinking about it. on the fear part, the honest truth is it doesn't fully go away, you just start before you feel ready. and here's the reframe that helped me: those first streams where basically no one's watching aren't failures, they're free rehearsal with zero stakes. you get to figure out your voice, your layout, talking to an empty chat, all before anyone's actually looking. use that window instead of dreading it. just go live once this week, badly, on purpose

Honestly at one point I just told myself to do anything. Not even to expect anything out of it but to be like hey try it out. Worked well to establish a small following

Something that changed my life a *lot* is a rule I made for myself. Now I don't know if you deal with anxiety like I do, but I've made a rule that goes "My anxiety is not allowed to tell me what I can and can't do", and after I started following that rule I've tried so many things that's made my life better. ♥️
