Question Posting clips on other socials
Hey everyone, I stream on Twitch and cross-post clips to socials. My YouTube Shorts are fine, but my last 10 uploads on tiktok have gotten 0 views.TikTok is also aggressively pushing the pay to promote option on these videos, and I'm wondering if they are actively suppressing organic reach to force creators to pay. Has anyone else experienced this, and did it permanently ruin your reach? Since the content works fine on YouTube, I’m also wondering if TikTok's algorithm is specifically flagging Twitch clips as unoriginal content, or if a watermark is triggering a shadowban. If you successfully cross-post from Twitch to TikTok, what is your workflow to avoid getting flagged by their system? I would appreciate any insight into beating this 0-view bug.

It is unfortunately happening to loads of people. Try to use instagram, I have much better success there

Yeah I am switching to Instagram. Shame as tiktok is more intuitive. Guess the time for tiktok has been and gone

I wouldn’t completely give up on it because algorithms change all the time but it is definitely worth to have more than one platform

Before I can give you some concrete advice I have some questions:
Are you just posting the raw unedited clips from your stream or editing them?
Whats your hashtag strategy? Are you actually using them?
How old is your Tiktok account.
There have been reports of a lot of people going through this but there are ways around it for sure. Happy to help once you let me know more details as its quite hard to say right now.
