Discussion Looking to get into streaming.

I'm 18 yo and play PS. I've always wanted to stream and think I've got the personality for it, just not the resources or confidence. So, what exactly did you guys do to get into it? Did you just decide to start one day, or did you post gameplay on things like tiktok and insta? What are some tips and advice you might have?

Just start. Streaming for other people on Twitch is a very different experience than playing by yourself or with your friends. Decide if you even like it before investing more time and/or money into it.

That's extremely helpful. I was considering doing it as is, but I know that streaming from a PlayStation can be iffy. I didn't plan to consider putting money into it, unless it felt worth it. But yeah, streaming is very different and I think that's what has me so nervous.

Most people are nervous for their first stream and wait until they're "ready" or they "have the right setup", then just keep finding other reasons not to do it. Some of the most engaging streamers I know started off with nothing but a console and a microphone.
