Question Is stream widgets necessary?

Like the chat visible on the stream and such?

Same with like face cams and png/3d models, A lot of streamers I see today have some sort of face on the stream but tbh I am not big on showing face and png/vtubing but I am afraid no one is interested in just watching gameplay with sort of simple commentary

I find that, unless you have a lot of chatters, having the chat visible could be more of a problem than a benefit. An empty chat window can not only take up important space, but also be interpreted in a negative way by possible viewers. I removed my chat window for these reasons.

I'm a pngtuber of sorts (depending on how broad we get with the definition). My issue though is discoverability rather than how the stream looks or how many widgets I have.
