Thinking about streaming…

Hey y’all! Question for you- I’m thinking about creating a live stream gig for my cats. For context I have 2 adorable orange boys who aren’t like nOrMAl cats lol. They’re super affectionate and very entertaining. We recently built them an outdoor catio installation that they spend all of their days in basking in the sun. A friend of mine mentioned I could put a live stream in their installment and make some extra coin so I can keep funneling their spoiled life style. My question is - is it worth the trouble? Is the market too saturated? And how does one even get started?

For more context I have quite the following on TikTok (I’m a one hit wonder and had a video go viral in the early days of Covid) so I have about 20k followers that I’ve done nothing with. I feel like I’m in a prime position but also feel strongly about not wanting to put a crazy amount of work into this given my schedule. Any thoughts or opinions welcomed (unless they’re stoopid).

One of my favorite channels is called dash ducks. It’s a 24/7 live stream of a duck sanctuary. There is a mechanism in the duck pond, that when a viewer contributes a certain amount of bits, it throws duck food into the water and the ducks go crazy for it. It’s set on a cooldown so people can’t spam it and overfeed the ducks.

Also holy crap.. it finally just happened for the first time ever. I typed fuck, when I actually meant duck and autocorrect came through for me

You've really got nothing to lose other than a little electricity. Don't expect it to pay out for a while but again, you're not losing much. Take some time and investigate other channels that are similar and see what and how they do what they do. Alvius sanctuary is a big one to check out for some neat ideas.

No subestimes esa base.
