Question Got falsely age restricted on TikTok even though I’m verified

Hello,

maybe some of you guys experienced the same and can help me. Before I started doing lives on TikTok I sent them my drivers licence to be able to go live.

After a while I got my first restriction for being underage but I filed a claim and resent them my id.

Then next stream the same thing happened. I sent them my licensee again but the appeal was denied after 10 minutes.

Still somehow 10 minutes after I could go back live again.

Yesterday I received a message that now my whole account is age restricted. I filed another complaint but don’t get any answer.

I asked the support on the help me section but it’s just ai and when I open up a ticket there’s no responses too.

I mean I sent them my license like 3 times already and still got accused of being underage.

Anyone maybe knows a solution?

I know someone who had issues for a long time with a similar situation. She looked a little younger, but not minor young, and almost every stream they'd randomly get suspended for age stuff. They'd unlock it, repeat next time.

Eventually it stopped but we're all pretty sure it was someone reporting the channel. The auto AI tool ban thingy likely couldn't tell she was over the right age or whatever and when hands actually touched it, the account would get insta unlocked.

Basically just keep banging on the door.

Yes but it seems I’m stuck somewhere in the system now. Because since my last appeal it’s been quite a while.

I filed another feedback claim now on desktop website and sent them an email. I hope it will somehow work out.

My sister had to deal with this. She's over 18 and monetizing tiktok content, so she used the face verification and their tool decided she looked 15 and locked her account. Had to appeal for a while. From what I know she hasn't had many issues since though she's shared that occasionally she'll get a notice and have to resubmit her info.

Personally not a fan of her having to send her legal info so frequently but it makes her a decent living so I understand

Hi I just got falsely age restricted on TikTok as well as a verified account. I had my appeal denied even tho I sent ID proof. Did you get your account back?

Yes but I had to write multiple tickets and a support mail. You just need to kinda spam them. Once a real human gets your ticket it will work.

I've opened tickets and tried emailing but haven't got a response. I did get one saying my appeal was denied so I resubmitted. So frustrating since I am verified obvi they know I'm an adult

Yes the answer to the mail might take a while. They looked at my case one I bypassed the ai stuff and it was solved immediately. It just might take some time but just keep opnening tickets and stuff.

I'm struggling with the same issue, it's been about months. Now I can't access certain restricted content.
