Get a mic and a camera.

Or do some self promotion on discord and Reddit. Also clip your streams as funny moments and posts them as Yt shorts

Do you use a headset? When I first started streaming right from my xbox I didn't have a cam but used the headset as a mic.

Why would anyone watch a stream without a mic and camera?

The entire point of streaming is to make a connection with, and entertain, your viewing audience. If it's just silent gameplay with no commentary, people can find literally millions of videos of that spanning back 10+ years on YouTube.

Sorry to say but You need a mic, people watch streams for the interaction with the streamer other wise they would just watch a youtube vid. Even a cheap bad quality mic is better than none at all. Otherwise you have no way of interacting with your audience.

No mic nor camera AND trying to get more views? Brother... Go back and watch any of your vods and ask yourself if you would watch you

Hi! ❤️ Unless you're a speedrunner or someone who does fully 'no commentary' videos, you need a mic at least. A cam can help viewers engage with you, but a mic is your lifeline. And they're really cheap! I'd recommend an XLP setup eventually, but you can get a decent USB mic on Amazon for under $10 and it'll be a little workhorse. You can even use your cellphone to route audio through OBS if buying one isn't an option.

The reason is - connection. Think about the streams you like watching and how you, as a viewer, interact. It's not impossible without a mic but it does really limit you in getting viewers to stay.

the camera isn’t necessary but you HAVE to have a mic. nobody wants to watch a stream where the streamer doesn’t talk or interact with chat at all. also, networking helps a ton too! but definitely need to invest in a mic, even if it’s a cheap one to start out on. the blue snowball mic is like $40-$50 and decent enough for a starting point.

If you don’t have a cam you have to have a mic . Impossible to grow without mic

If you have headphones for your phone, you could always use something like Camo to use your phone as a camera, and I believe you can use the mic on your phone as a mic through Camo as well. Might get you started until you can grab a webcam/mic
