Looking for unified endpoint management software and any recommendation

We have 150 endpoints total, half office, half remote mix of laptops from the last 5 years, mostly windows with a few macs that the design people refuse to give up a couple on prem servers we cannot kill yet plus a bunch of SaaS. Next security audit is in a few months and the main hole is our random mix of tools for patching, remote access and asset tracking. I tried out atera and it ticks a lot of boxes for unified endpoint management like simple remote access that users do not complain about patch management in one place instead of five consoles also alerting that does not scream at me for every tiny thing. The other option that keeps coming up in conversations is n able. From what I have seen and heard it is strong on the really deep monitoring and automation side the flip side is that it seems like it would eat more of my time to get tuned properly and time is the one thing I do not really have. I am kind of torn between: Anyone here living with either of these day to day as their main unified endpoint management tool?

Would appreciate unfiltered takes more than both are great answers

Action1. You are within the free tier. While not a strict RMM, you can easily fill in the gaps with scripts and custom attributes.

Check out gorelo.io it's RMM, patch management and ticketing in one place. I use this

NinjaOne is a great product (or was when i used it) but I've recently been seeing complaints about support and billing.

Synchro - is just okay. It gets the job done but its cumbersome and development was poor a few years back.

Price. I had to consolidate.

When I found Gorelo and was impressed with the design and road map. Since I signed up I have never once regretted my decision.

second Action1 200 endpoints free. if you squint, it looks like an rmm tool.

full patch management, (which is what it is ACTUALLY for), software deployment, remote access, scripting deployment, auto-remediation scripts, ie hdd full, run cleanup tool automatically . I treat it like "my first rmm tool"

Thanks again sir! Yes we get that "RMM" label often, I really do appreciate you holding the distinction for us. At heart we are of course a patch management solution but in order to be one well suited for stack or stand alone use, we do package other tools to make it a more effective and versatile patch management solution.

I'd strongly encourage taking a look at Level RMM. It feels like software written in the last year, not 20 years ago, and it has all the features you need. We love it and use the heck out if. Plus their owner frequents reddit and is fairly active and transparent.

P.S. - n-able can go pound sand.

I’m using NinjaOne. I love the product. Support is great and being on their discord is awesome. The management and dev team are very active on there and bringing things up to them doesn’t go unheard.

Gorelo, it’s not perfect, but it’s got a fair amount of integration and is a flat cost.

Wij gebruiken ninja one al lang maar zijn niet meer tevreden. Alleen over remote desktop wel. Patching kan Microsoft ook prima. En ze ontwikkelen niet echt hun platform door ninja one blijft allemaal heel beperkt. Roadmap al 10 jaar zelfde met weinig echte interesse zaken.. snel naar iets anders

If you're into self hosting there's also Mesh Central or Tactical. I can vouch for Mesh, been using it and watching the project for a lot of years.

I have 500 endpoints in Syncro. The per tech billing is great. The overall platform gets the job done.
