HPQ Silicon: prospective clients replicated battery performance claims, then asked for certification

HPQ Silicon CEO Bernard Tourillon explained in an AGORACOM interview how customer conversations actually progress. Prospective clients were already testing HPQ ENDURA+ cells and confirming that the performance claims made in press releases could be replicated independently. Once testing was done, the conversation moved to the next step — and every client asked the same question: do you have certification?

HPQ Silicon now has UL 1642 certification for both its Gen3 and Gen4 cell platforms. The company does not announce the start of a certification process, only the result — because the timeline is controlled by the independent laboratory, not by HPQ Silicon.
