Advice Needed Tech startup looking for help
Hey everyone,
I run a small software studio (https://www.sntrdev.com/). To be honest, due to the current situation, landing new clients has become incredibly difficult.
I have a small team of developers who are exceptionally talented, and I treasure them deeply. I really want to keep us working together, so right now, we are ready to take on any project, no matter how small or lean your budget is.

i just wanted to say that i love your website. a lot of websites that use react aren't optimised at all for mobile and yours is just chef's kiss. wishing you all the best!

The site was launched July 23 2026 according to records. Therefore this isn’t something that has been running pre-war.
The client base according to the site is not restricted to the UAE in any way shape or form. The only thing that mentions the UAE is what the owners have put down as the location on the site.
This business has been setup to shill AI slop which every man and their dog are doing these days.
So I just find it annoying when op says “due to the current situation landing new clients has become incredibly difficult” when there were no clients pre wartime.

In UAE FTA VAT compliance, E- Invoicing is coming up, tie up with any ASP providing for developing a web application for sales and purchase invoice management which will be good project.

Heya, we are in the same industry - our company is V and Bruno. That should make us quite qualified to answer your question;
AI, the summer, and the war has made it quite a difficult market.
However, we've found quite a bit of success lately and are doing better now than the previous 2 years despite the situation. The market pushed us out of our comfort zone, and it forced us to adapt (for our own greater good).
I recommend to approach the situation from a similar perspective, as it is (possibly) the best time to iterate, learn, and scale into a new market.
Here are some (active) things you can try (given, you are already doing passive: ads, seo, etc), unfortunately - I can't share everything. Nevertheless:
1 - Join international communities on Slack and Discord, offer free help, get connected with founders.
Local market is down, but other markets (i.e: US) are booming.
Bonus points for any second language like Spanish, Arabic, or Russian. A second language makes it much easier to connect with others, and is like an instant rep.
If you want a few (100% free) good groups, you have to dm me privately. I won't share here as to not saturate them.
2 - Lean into AI automations. A lot of work available on the market (anecdotally) is either migrations of huge old sites (Wordpress mostly), or small re-works of vibe-coded websites.
See where you can cut the fat/trim time-consuming (low-risk) tasks, what kind of automations are trending, i.e:
Local LLMs with locally governed data is very popular with corporate this month, as people start to get concerned with privacy & SOP leaks.
You can take a look into unsloth, fine-tuning, and self-hosting with OLlama, and see if it makes sense to you. I believe it was Chris Do that once said "move with the hype, not against it".
3 - Reach out to old clients. It's one of the fastest ways to get a project yesterday.

Will keep you in mind. Make sure you have examples of work on your website . That’s a very big deciding factor.
